Brittany comes from a very musical family. Several of her relatives have been involved in the music business at a semi-professional level with styles ranging from Opera to Folk to Heavy Rock. Brittany began playing violin at age 10 and has been involved with music ever since. She has been performing live with her father Rick since she turned fourteen years old.
Brittany’s major influences include Janis Joplin, Jewel, Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos, The Beatles, Patsy Cline, Indigo Girls, etc. and she performs many songs from each of these artists.
Brittany frequently plays at several open mike nights around the area. She has also played live on WEQX radio and has had the pleasure to perform live with the Indigo Girls at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady.
Brittany currently performs solo acoustic versions of her repertoire most often but will occasionally invite talented friends to join her on vocals, guitar, congas or other percussion instruments to enhance her show and add to the fun. Brittany’s repertoire currently contains over five hours of great music from the folk, pop & rock genres.
